What are CEUs? Some agencies, schools, and supervisory organizations require that their professional members continue to take courses that will advance their skills. And, to be sure that the course or workshop taken is of the highest quality, it must have passed approval with a university. Kathy Brown has gone through this process through Arizona State University’s College of Continuing Education, so the courses she teaches now qualify for CEUs (Continuing Education Credits). Do all supervisory organizations require CEUs? No. Most school districts, for example, require no more than the certificate of completion you receive for each course you attend. What courses qualify? Course approval includes all of Kathy Brown’s course dates in 2008. CEUs are still availiable for courses you took in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Please inquire. How do I make my request for CEUs? It’s a simple matter of filling out your contact information, indicating which course(s) you want CEUs for, and mailing your form with a check made out to Arizona State University for for $15 for each course.
